   We have kept this in the box in a climate controlled environment since we received it. We put it together last night. I don’t mind a ding here and there, but there are marks/stains/rust on the cooking surface. Very disappointed in that. We are planning on using it tonight so I’ll post an update about how it cooks.

   Pit Boss customer service is complete trash. I bought a cover for this griddle from Pit Boss directly by matching the model number from my griddle to what was in the cover description. It didn’t fit. The 2 customer service reps were both rude and told me that I would have to pay shipping to return the cover before they would do ANYTHING since I chose the wrong one. I told them I did NOT choose the wrong one, but rather they are giving false information about which covers fit certain models of griddle. They said Pit Boss is a small company and this is just the way it is when I asked for a supervisor. I will NOT be buying anything from this brand ever again and you should not either.
   Update- Pit Boss called me back and sent me the correct cover for free and I wasn’t required to return the other one.
   Another update- the cover they sent still doesn’t fit. They do not actually sell the cover to their own griddle! I got rid of the griddle and got a Blackstone.

   I can only give this 3 stars, since the grill came damaged and the company wouldn’t do anything about it because it didn’t affect how the product worked. Would have been good customer service to at least offer a coupon or discount off a future order.

    Got home and box was on ground by porch. Box come as if it was 20 years old. As we installed it, notice hood has a couple dents in it. It was easy to install. We will find out how it works when we get the propane tank filled.
