   This is a decent heat shield but not a direct replacement for the Bit Boss Pro model. It does fit but it does not have a provision for the handle. Overall, it’s a nice head shield, it fits well and is made out of a fairly heavy gauge steel. The packaging could use some improvement. Two of the corners on mine got bent during shipping.

   My current heat deflector was already rusted. It was very thin metal. I went to replace it with this one and you can feel the difference in thickness of the metal. It is substantially heavier which means it should last significantly longer. It installed without issue and is cheaper than the stock deflector. It fit perfect in my PBP 1100.

   The metel is about .5mm thicker than the broiler that is being replaced on an 820 series grill. This doesn’t seem like much but it is substantially heavier and should help maintain an even heat. I expect this will last several years with proper maintenance. Fit was great both with the grill and between the plate and slide.

   My grill was awesome until the metal drip tray decided to rust and rot out and then became a flame thrower everytime I tried to use the grill and became useless. I was going to buy a new grill but figured I could make the metal tray myself. Yeah right!!
   I then came across this in perfect time and decided to give it a try and so glad I did.
   This tray is made of very heavy steel and much heavier than I expected it to be.
   The tray is a perfect fit and function. Now I can use the grill and not worry about needing to call the fire department!!
   I can now grill my steak to perfection again too!!!
   This has saved my pocket and my nice grill!!!
