- When it’s time to replace your grate, consider upgrading to longlasting, durable stainless steel. Our grill grate is hinged so you can easily add briquettes to your kettle.
- SAVE TIME. No one likes cleaning up, but it’s a fact of life. Luckily, stainless steel is much easier to clean and maintain than nickel plated steel. This means you spend more time chillin’ than cleaning the grill grate.
- ELIMINATE CORRODING GRIDS. Ever notice the grids on your nickel plated grate get thinner over time? Because stainless steel is rust resistant with less need for cleaning, our grids will not wear down and corrode

Glad to find a product that is actually stainless steel. Tried lowes and Home Depot and they don’t make anything stainless steel just the toxic junk

This is an accurate replacement for the very old original Weber grill, which was so rusted I didn’t feel safe using it. I hope to get many more rust-free years of grilling with this grill..

I have had a standard Webber kettle for 20 years, and have replaced the cooking grate about every 3 years due to rust and peeling coating. Stainless steel is the way to go, mine has not rusted, and is easy to clean.
Forgive me, I am a metallurgist: 201 stainless is not quite as good as the more common 304 stainless, which is not as good as 316 stainless, however I am expecting this 201 stainless to be just fine for the grill.
So far, this grate have been great, and I am looking forward to not having to replace it.
Best wishes!

I am very pleased in the grade of stainless steel, but the gage could be heavier. For the grade, the cooking grate cleans much easier than chromed steel. Since stainless steel doesn’t oxidize, it has less pores for cooked on food to stick to. Chrome isn’t porous, but as soon as you clean it off after the first use the scratches cause the steel to oxidize resulting in greater sticking of food.
For the gage, the wire grate is a bit more flexible than I am comfortable. It holds a full rack of chicken or chops just fine, but place a large pork shoulder on it and it dips down a bit. I’ll be very upset if my meat ends up on the coals!!!

Fits perfectly, great sides that open, heavy duty. Much better than the Weber one.

I was really excited about having a stainless grill so I wouldn’t have to keep buying the Weber junk. However, the 1st time out, while cooking some expensive steaks, one of the welds failed and one of the doors dropped down dropping my steak down into the bottom where I couldn’t rescue it ruining a steak that cost twice as much as the grate did. Extremely disappointed as there is no fix for the issue. I’ll be contacting outdoorcooking.us.com about returning it. I would have thought the QC on such a simple product would have been better
