Well made, heavyweight steel, not flimsy, it’s gonna last a long time!! Prep pan can also be used as a basting cover. I’ve only used it on my charcoal grill and it works as a charcoal oven, keeps everything moist an’ juicy!! The magnetic lifting knobs are strong! Easy cleaning also, they didn’t cut any corners making these lovable grilling companions.

Well made, very solid, pretty heavy. I can see using this like is shown in the pictures. The top can be used as a melting dome. The bottom can be used for bringing out food to the grill so it can be cooked. The wire grate can be used to keep things above the grill surface, like veggies or buns. It can sit inside the bottom as well. It includes two magnetic knobs to be used to lift the dome. I think I will typically use both knobs, both on top towards the ends of the dome, as one stuck in the middle would be difficult to use if not perfectly centered. A permanently attached single knob would probably be better for using it, but having the magnetic knobs allow for the pans to sit inside each other, with the grate inside them, for easier storage, taking up less space.

It’s a nice idea and the size of the steamer lid is really great for steam cooking eggs for several people all at once. But the magnets do not hold as well to the lid when it’s hot.
