   This is a nicely finished heavy chunk of cast iron. Fits on my grill nicely. It’s seasoning well and seems like something that will just do it’s job…….a chunck of cast iron is a chunk of cast iron. If this one is the size and shape that works for your application it’s a good choice.

   An excellent addition to my Weber Genesis E315 barbeque. Purchased this to accomodate the Weber griddle 7682 that I purchased. This allows for the griddle to be recessed into the cook box rather than sitting on top of the bbq grille. Excellent product and securely holds the griddle in place.

   Read everything and then read it again, indicated Spirit 300 series, but an additional part was necessary. Never opened the box, so I really did not see it to review it.

   This is heavy and large so I prefer to clean it outside with a water hose instead of trying to manage it over my sink which it doesn’t fit in. It does provide a lot of space to cook on though. I can fit a bundle of asparagus and 2 large strips of fish on it just fine. It really is non stick so cleaning is extremely easy. I didn’t coat the dish at all but just had some olive oil on my food when I put it on the griddle and nothing stuck at all. The little drain hole does allow fats and oils to drain and drip in the grill flames but the flames aren’t singeing the food like it does if you put it right on the grates. I’m excited to know that the next time we loose power for an extended period of time, I can now cook eggs on the grill without them sticking like they did on foil.

   I used this grate on my DynaGlo grill, the grate fit perfectly, and replaced the ones that were wearing away. This grate is much nicer than my factory grate, and the quality would rival a commercial sear grate. The cast iron grates are solid and very heavy-duty, and I expect them to outlive my grill. There is nothing I would say negative about this. This is a grate buy! (Pun intended).

   I ordered this item to use on my induction stove top. It’s made for a grill but I’ve been looking for a something that would work for my stove top for a while and this does the trick. It fits over two burners which is what I was looking for. Since it is iron, it works well with my induction stove. It’s easy to clean with a nonstick quality to it. It’s built well and is priced well for a large griddle. I bet it would work great on a grill because of it drip hole placement and sturdy construction.

   Full disclosure, I have a Spirit E210 grill and I am not using this with the frame kit. Why? First the frame kit is for the 300 series and they are another $50 (nope) so for me, this sits on top my grates like a really large pan, but one that’s square, has a really nice size griddle space and surface and it heavy enough that unlike a pan, this isn’t sliding anywhere. I writing this in between seasoning steps (you know, apply, burn off, repeat five times) so can say this is heating up decently and I’m looking forward to having a grease hole here in a few minutes for the bacon that is staring at me. Okay it’s me staring at the bacon, but only for another seasoning step and then, well, you know. I just need to get a silicon cover for this and I’ll be a happy camper.

    I have a Weber SPX-435 grill and purchased the frame kit so as to be able to utilize part of the grill as a griddle to make smashburgers. The LS’BABQ GRIDDLE is the perfect replacement for the Weber OEM griddle that I purchased. It is made of cast iron and appears to fit exactly as the OEM griddle does on top of the Weber frame kit. It is heavy (as cast iron should be) and worked well during limited use due to the cold weather. There are no instructions with it, but I do recommend that the griddle be seasoned with vegetable cooking oil prior to use. All of this at approximately 50% less than the Weber OEMM griddle price. Highly recommended
