   It is a rather lightweight paddle that can punish your sub in less than 60 seconds. The straight yet ergonomic grip also comes with an eyelet that allows you to lash the paddle to your wrist to keep even the newest dom from dropping it while wailing on your subs posterior!

   This thing is great for brewing beer. I used it with my Anvil Foundry 6.5 gallon kettle, and it worked perfectly. However, in my instance, it’s definitely overkill, but I still love it.

   This product is high quality, true stainless steel, and easy to clean. It looks great, feels great, and is gigantic. If everything sounds good to you just be sure to grab your tape measure, and truly get an idea of just how big 42 inches is, because it’s gigantic.

   All in all, worth the pricetag.

   This is the paddle that you need. After using a flimsy plastic paddle for years, this will actually move what you’re cooking. It’s much larger than I thought, which is what you need. Easy to clean and will last a lifetime. Just buy it!

   This paddle stirs beautifully. The holes in the paddle creates vortexes in the sauce as you stir and it creates a perfectly mixed sauce. I’ve used a paddle that did not have the holes and it requires much more mixing to get everything mixed properly and completely

    I brew my own beer using an 8-gallon electric brewer (RoboBrew V3), and my original stir spoon had sharp edges that would aggravate my hands after a while. I then tried a wooden paddle, but the head was too thick and wouldn’t bust up dry grain balls. So, I went looking for a paddle that had a flat head and a comfortable rounded handle.

    This Bayou Classic is perfect. It’s long enough where I don’t have to bend over or worry about getting my hands wet while stirring the grains into the wort. The head is broad enough to move the grains effectively and is flat so I can use the edges to break up dough balls. The best part is the smooth rounded handle that I can comfortably maneuver for extended periods of time. I have arthritis in my hands and this relieves what would be painful with smaller a paddle that had a thinner circumference.

    Poor welds allow liquid to fill the hallow handle. It would be impossible to keep sanitary. outdoorcooking.us.com sent me a second and the welds are much better. Would have given it 5 stars except for the hassle.

    I love this paddle, makes my house feel like a real brewhouse! That being said, this thing is monstrous! I have a 10 gallon cooler as a lauter/mash and this thing is waaaaay too big for that. I still use it once in awhile on big beers to help move grain around (stouts, 15lb+ beers, etc) but I have to have it on the ground and it sticks way up. It also hits my filter in the bottom and is hard to sneak between the edge of the wall and my kettle screen. All in all though a good product, I just got one way too big!
