   Excited to fit my new bbq dragon spin grate on my new weber only to find one of the 3 support legs
   completely snapped off straight out of the box. very poor packaging by outdoorcooking.us.com or bbq dragon.
   Have to pay for international shipping to return the grate even though it came shipping free. Packaging, wrapping, printing and transporting and have to pay for the privilege of a refund. not happy at all.

   It works great in my Weber 22; just as promised in the product description. I especially like that it fits over and works great with my slow n’ sear–perfect for getting a cold grate sear on steaks and other meats.

   The soldering is very bad. If it does not arrive broken it will certainly break soon. I ordered the same product from two different sources and the same problem was in both. One had the wire grate knob broken and detached from the grate, the other had the black rotating base broken. The supplier must have known it was broken because they provided another knob in the box.

   I bought this spin grate because when I am grilling I am always moving the food closer and away from the hot zones. Sometimes I manually rotate the original grate but it hangs up on the tabs. This new spin grate allows me to easily rotate the food from one area to another, and I am pretty happy with it.

   Two Items I would fix/add to it. A bigger section for adding additional fuel. It’s kind of small as is. The spinning feature needs more drag to prevent unwanted spinning. Sometimes I spin the meat to a hot section, and it will not stay in place and will keep spinning and i have to move it back in hopes that it won’t spin anymore.

   For burgers, chicken thighs, steaks or any other flare up prone items this is the answer. Got a bank of burgers on fire? Get them all off the fire at one time. Cold grate technique for steaks? Check. My only concern going in was fumbling around putting 2 pieces over hot coals with the bolts sticking through from the Weber tuck away lid holder (the bolts sticking through always get in the way) but that ended up being a non event. In fact it was easier dealing with than a standard grate. My only future concern is the grate is pretty light gauge stuff but we will see. I’m about to give BBQ dragons customer svc a try, my dragon blower is starting to cut out and stick/lock up but we will see there as well.

    I bought a weber grill long time ago. Not till recently have I learned from youtube the slow n sear method for cooking steaks. For the sear part, you are supposed to spin your grate away from the flame then flip. If you have a regular weber grate, the grate gets caught when you try to spin the steak away from the flame. I thought, I wish somebody invent a grate that spins freely. Here it is. It works perfectly.

    Not Level and it does not even say BBQ Dragon on it.

    I ordered this product for my husband and the 1st one came and was not level. We thought it was just this one so we ordered a replacement. The 2nd one came to day and it is the same way. The made me question the product is a real BBQ Dragon. I noted that the paper that came with it had a bar over the center of the top wrack which ours did not have. Needles to say we will be returning this 2nd one as well and ordering from the real BBQ Dragon site and see if we have better luck.
