   I’ve used the heck outta this camp chef. Every meal My family and friends comment that I should be a professional cook but really it’s the tools I have been using. Yes it’s double the cost of a standard grill but it does triple the work only negative thing I have is I needed to add a felt seal around the door to slow the heat and smoke loss. That only took $10 and 5 minuites to upgrade however I’m kinda picky so it may not have even been necessary

   Looks nice and it’s functional, but doesn’t set level when items are set on it (leans forward). You can take a screwdriver and snug the side screws up after raising it, but then you have to unloosen screws to lower it back down … so it’s not very handy. Also was kind of pricey for something that probably should have come standard with the smoker. But as far as the Camp Chef 36″ Woodwind Smoker it’s self … I love it !

   I like the IDEA of having a front shelf I can place a tray on before loading the smoker. This shelf was a little questionable to install with the directions, but that’s never been my strong point – maybe it will go easier for you. However, even once installed the shelf feels flimsy. I am concerned about placing a full tray on it so I often use the side shelf (I don’t have an attachment) or the top of the pellet hopper. This makes me ask myself, “why did I do this again?”

   This shelf is just awesome. The smoker did not come with a shelf and this was super easy to install and comes in very handy!!
