   Wood inserts on handles are not sanded/smoothed properly creating a bothersome ridge on each one. They should be smooth. Not good quality for an item in this prcie range.

   Okay okay I admit it: in the past I’ve been guilty of skipping washes on my grill tools “I’ll just flame sterilize it!”.

   Hopefully I haven’t lost too many of you (“ewww.. gross!”) and God forbid my wife ever reads this review, but suffice it to say thanks to this Pitmaster grill tool set, I will *never* skip a wash again; these are just too nice to not have be sparkly and new! The tools are really nice sized, they are full tang stainless steel, and they are seriously heavy duty.

   As a guy somewhere in my mid-to-late 40s, it’s nice to buy things like this and be able to think “this might be the last one of these I ever have to buy!”, and that mantra absolutely applies to this grill set!

   Talk about a BBQ dream set. I have never seen such sturdy tools. Yes, there are other sturdy ones out there, but these are TOP NOTCH. I can see why these are more expensive than other sets. Yes, it’s a splurge, but they’re HUGE. Some giant people with large hands will definitely appreciate these. Finally a set for the big guys that do heavy grilling! I’d avoid them if you have arthritis because of the weight, though. They’re long enough to keep a good distance from the grill, are easy to clean, did not rust after washing, and are packaged so exquisitely that it would make a luxurious holiday gift to the BBQ lovers in your life, even without gift wrap! I love them! I hope this helps!

   I’ve been looking for a nice bbq utensil set on outdoorcooking.us.com for a while, but though other sets come with a lot of different accessories, the quality of them is seriously lacking… not this set! The quality of the materials and workmanship is top notch with this! They are nice and long, the perfect length to keep your hands from getting burnt on the barbecue and I love the solid wooden handles on them. Adds a nice upscale touch and provides good grip when holding them. I really like the grill scraper it comes with which has a steel wool pad on the end of it instead of wire bristles. This is great so you don’t have to worry about metal bristles breaking off and getting in your food. It comes with an additional two stainless steel wool pads to use as replacements if you need.

   These barbecue utensils are going to last a long time and are motivating me to get out there and barbecue more than ever!🍗🍖🔥🔥

   Cooking on blazing heat, one definitely needs something that’s sturdy, comfortable to use and long enough to keep your hands safe. This set is a perfect combination of all the required qualities and the wooden heat resistant handles make them more worthy.

   Looking at the accessories, the spatula offers much flexibility and maneuverability for easy flipping. The tongs have a comfortable spread and grip to hold and turn and the fork is sharp enough and does its job well. I also loved the grill brush, it worked well beyond my expectations during scraping and didn’t break. Overall a very good quality and durable set.

   So far it is one of the best grilling set I have had. Just that I wish it came with a storage bag or something!
