   I needed to replace my 7 year old Vision Grill B Series cart after the humid Florida weather finally got to it and I was afraid one of the rusted wheels would fall off and cause it to tip over and fall. I love the fact that the material used does not look cheap. It is sturdy and fits my grill snuggly. When setting in stand, it was about a couple inches higher and the bottom did not reach the stand. However after adding the inner heat box it slipped in and fit like a glove. I was so happy with it that I decided to give the grill a spring cleaning..(in Florida it’s always spring even in January). I definitely recommend this stand to anyone that has the old large Vision B Series grill.

    10 yr old L egg; casters gave out and needed a solution pronto. So heavy to move and maybe could have revived the old casters… asked myself it is was worth it. Bought this as a backup, and I would do it 10 times over.

    Better construction/bolts. Wheels were awesome (not sure what they will do in 10 yrs, but darn thing started rolling in the driveway immediately after transfer to new nest).

    TIP: Get one of those oversized plant pot movers and loosen it up all the way in order to pick up the egg from the old nest. Also, remove all of the guts of the egg (carefully). I left the lid and trays on the unit. It wasn’t too bad picking up (and i also took the opportunity to replace the aluminum vent on the bottom which really needed a thorough cleaning; this is hard to do while in the standard nest OR this replacement/upgrade).

    TIP2: Strategically scream DRAKARYS like a G.O.T. extra during the project. Your family will be so impressed but will know it is required for the next bbq extravaganza.

    Easy to assemble, seems to be much much more study than original vision base was. I bought a new vision grill in 2018 and the wheels broke through the cheap pot metal that the original cradles were made of. This new base seems to be made out of much thicker steel than the original thin metal that the vision grills had from the factory. The large vision eggs are over 200 lbs, so you’ll have to use some sort of winch or engine block cherry picking type jack system. In my case I used a racheting cable winch, and attached to an over head beam i had in my shop. Anyway, keep in mind, it is almost impossible to lift one of these eggs out of cradle without help of some sort of hoist or winch.
