It’s a great shelf, if you can put it together. There were some missing screws, but after a trip to the hardware store, it’s working great!

Bought the Masterbuilt shelf for the 560. Fits perfectly and feels solid. Is a better design than the original shelf that comes with the other model Masterbuilts as this shelf has more usable height between it and the lid handle.
Easy to install. I did it while the grill was upright.
Only BUT, is there was 1 of 2 main long screws missing which renders the shelf unable to be installed. Luckily I had a close match amongst my bolt collection. However this is an annoying lazy manufacturing issue. (Something the actual grill also had… missing components).

My kit came package well and damage free but was missing a bolt for the shelf pivot.
My second trouble was that the slot was too small for the bushing/spacers to fit inside. I should of used a file but reamed it out with a drill bit instead.
I decided to install this on my 5 burner grill and it worked out perfectly! I repurposed the adaptor mounts and assembled the rest as directed (after filling new holes and finding nuts for the bolts since the captive nuts in the mount were not used. It was pretty easy to assemble alone and works great!

This is the perfect solution to limited BBQ area. I am very happy with this shelf. I like the versatility of the space, since it can be folded down when not in use for a more streamlined use of space. It arrived undamaged but was missing a bolt that I was able to replace with a trip to the local hardware store. What an upgrade to grilling space!
