   I just bought a very high end American made BBQ/Smoker grill and needed tools to complement it and these do the trick. High quality workmanship is getting harder to find but I did find a good set to do the job at a decent price. They should last a very long time with care. It’s important to me they are NOT made in China and you won’t be disappointed with these.

   Its really tough to find BBQ tools that are made in USA. From the pictures the spatula looks thin and flimsy so I was a bit concerned. Just got them yesterday and they are fantastic!! Very god thickness of stainless steel! Really high quality BBQ tools, I am not sure you can make them better. I am always happy to find and support a great American Made product like this.

   I am severely disappointed in this purchase. I purchased the 20″ set and I originally looked for made in the USA and if this set is, it’s definitely not marked any where on the carrying case or any of the 3 utensils. Their website clearly states that they are “formed in our Massachusetts facilities”. You can clearly see the “American Made 1837” in the pictures and also “Crafted to Inspire” logo. I am not inspired in the least. The really disappointing aspect is I wanted a stout set of tongs and these are weak, springy and the sharp “teeth” will cut at the casing on most sausages because of the extra pressure required to turn them, namely the Zummo Boudin. Conecuh sausage is not a problem if you are mindful of how you turn them. I may try the 15″ set, if I can get over the disappointment of this $160 purchase.

   My husband loved these. He had an old pair of tongs and has wanted the set for years so I got it for him for Christmas. He loved that the spatula had a beveled front so it’s scoops up the burgers and doesn’t mangle it. Very sturdy.
