   From the picture it looks as if the engraved section would be black. That is not the case. It also looked like they didn’t brush the sawdust from it and just clear coated over the debris. I also had a ” ‘ ” at the end of a word which was misaing. No big deal, just wish it was on there. Other than that, the wood is solid and the case itself is nice.

   For the price we paid we expected the hardware on the box to be stainless but it was plastic. There were no protectors on the tips on the fork so the lining was ripped when we received it. It’s a nice thoughtful gift, my brother-in-law liked it, but If we were to make a purchase like this again we’d look elsewhere for something better quality. If you’re in a hurry and need something thoughtful now this will do the job. Shipping is quick.
