This is a nice thick stone. It makes my pizzas come out so much better!
Might want to consider also purchasing a pizza peel while you’re at it.
And some corn meal to put on the stone to keep pizza from sticking. Eventually it will get seasoned with use.

Everything about this stone looks and feels right. We bought this after breaking a different one we had for around 25 years. We stuck this in the oven to heat up and got a strong chemical smell in the house. We figured it would bake out after a while so left it in the oven a few hours and opened the windows.
It did not. Tried soaking it overnight in water then baking it again. Still bad. Tried soaking it in vinegar. Tried baking it even longer. I tried sticking it on the grill to get higher temps. After 6 months of this I may give up and order a different brand of pizza stone. It is still really strong smelling. We have had other similar items and never had this problem before.
If anyone has any ideas on how to get rid of the chemical smell please let me know.

Game changer in making homemade pizza. Makes it nice and chewy with a bit crusty. Gets very dirty and hard to clean. I figure its like a cast iron skillet.

Good product but after first use in the bbq there are a lot of burns stains that we can not clean

Item came in well packed box providing protection to the stone.
Followed the suggestion by one of the reviews to wash it water before using. Works like a charm as there was no smoke or smell coming from the stone.
Made pizza last night and turns out great. Wish I have a better oven to crank up the heat more and make awesome pizza.

I like the size but it is heavy(really heavy) I have not found the combination yet so the crust does not stick. Cooks evenly. If you have a smaller oven it may not fit, double check before buying
