   I ordered these for one of my “grill master” sons for Christmas. As soon as it arrived, I ordered another one for another son because I knew it was going to be a winner-winner steak dinner! 😉 I was looking for something he could use to safely hold his already-grilled meat without it being contaminated by the raw meat juice–without having to take the tray or platter inside to wash it before reusing it. Keeping the grilled meat hot would be great too, but I didn’t know if what I was looking for existed. This product does exactly what I was looking for and SO MUCH MORE! And it all nests together and takes up very little room. I was right–it was a winner!

   Received for Christmas and put it to use while making sausage egg and cheese biscuits for a large group. Put eggs and sausage in the metal pan and kept the metal lid on it everything stayed warm until ready. I have used it to prep a brisket and pork shoulder for smoking again functioning great used metal pan to shred pork shoulder for pulled pork. The only thing I don’t care for is the plastic cutting board that comes with it, I mean it would work but very thin and does not seem useful to me. Otherwise it is great functioning great seems to clean easily enough and stores well.

   This is perfect for an all-in-one grilling kit for camping or even a local friends and family gathering. It includes a container for marinating, a cutting board for the veggies and meat, and an excellent snap lid to store and easily seal and refrigerate what is left. It was designed in a way so everything nests together, so it doesn’t take up much space. This is essential for those with limited space and don’t want or need to pack much for a camping trip. And it includes basically everything you need, from beginning to end to cook meat and other veggies. I first tested in the home environment with my home oven and a pizza. It did excellent, as you can see in the pics. The pan has fantastic non-stick properties, as even the baked-on cheese easily separated from the pan without fuss. It worked very great, and I was impressed. The next test was the marinating pan, which is deep enough for realistic cuts of meat and also shallow enough for the marinates and seasonings toc cover adequately. For my pork ribs with vinegar-based BBQ sauce and fresh thyme and basil and whole garlic cloves, it really stood out as a contender and did a fantastic job! With the sealed lid, I was able to flip, slide, and slosh around the marinade to ensure it REALLY got into the meat. The last thing I tested was the defrost tray, which was surprisingly effective for some pork ribs we later grilled on the propane grill. I let them sit on the defrosting tray for a little over an hour, and I assume it was a combination of the ambient temperature and the tray itself, but I was easily able to get the ribs thawed out and ready for cooking in a little less than an hour in 50 degree temperature. The ribs came out fantastic and delicious, and I was easily able to store the leftovers in the same pan, with the plastic cover that snaps into place. I am all about convenience, and this was the definition of that! Simply put, this is an outstanding choice for those looking for a convenient, portable, and compact solution for grilling, marinating, and storing all in one convenient package! The only slight downfall is the cutting board which like many is easily scarred and scuffed and takes abuse easily from a very sharp chefs’ knife. But that is not to say it is not a quality cutting board. Keep in mind, this is a cutting board made for off grid use and not everyday use, and it functions perfectly for what it was intended for. I am vey happy overall with the entire kit, and would easily recommend it to any of my fellow outdoor grillers and campers! And best of all, its dishwasher safe!

   I got this for my husband as one of his anniversary gifts. I was excited about the separate prep and serve pans, and I splurged and got this better version that included the thawing board and a few other things. Unfortunately it arrived cracked in 3 places. The packaging was just the box that it comes in with no protection, placed inside a thin plastic bag. No bubble wrap, no padded envelope, nothing of that sort to protect it. I returned it and repurchased. Only to have the same issue- cracked in 3 places. This company needs to either invest in some protective packaging, or needs to use a sturdier plastic for the lid. I returned and tried to purchase again, but was sent the basic version that didn’t include the thawing board. Oh well, it was a good idea but poorly executed. I wouldn’t recommend this product unless they package it differently. I’m not sure how there aren’t more negative reviews since 2/2 were broken that we received.
