   So, I’d like to start out by saying, I totally forgot I ordered this and was therefore incredibly perplexed when this medical grade giant syringe showed up on my door step. Once I was able to put the pieces together, I was thrilled with the product. It’s made of stainless steel and as I mentioned is a nice solid heavy medial type grade syringe. I used this to inject a garlic butter in a turkey breast and was impressed not only with the volume it held but the sharpness of the needle. Very easy to clean – just be mindful of the sharp bits.

   This food injector is restaurant grade in my opinion. Stainless steel and sturdy. It has different sizes of needles in order to inject different thickness of fluids. They screw on and off easily. The top also screws off for easy loading. I injected a turkey with melted butter and even injected some cheese into some sausages I put on the grill. And everything was easy to clean afterwards with warm soap and water, and using the included cleaning tools. The only thing I would desire to have is maybe a plastic or rubber case to store it in. Other than that I think this package is a great value and should last a long time.

   I’ve seen these, but never wanted to spend the money on them. Why not do it by hand, or with forks? I was surprised to find out they actually work pretty good. I’ve had problems with heat, or doubling up gloves to protect from heat, when pulling the pork. This solves that problem. It also makes it easier to manage the meat as you’re doing it.

   My only downside is the price. I would still be on the fence about buying these because of that price – but if you’ve got them, they are a joy to use.

   These claws work great for shredding chicken! It makes it so much easier. They can be used for other meats – I’ve even used it to help break up ground hamburger. I like that they are dishwasher safe. A great addition to my kitchen tools!

   OVERALL: These claws are easy to use and effectively shred meat or other things you might want to smash, mix, or shred, and can double as salad tongs or other grabber functions also. PROS: The plastic is sturdy and goes through the dishwasher just fine. NEUTRAL: The grip is reasonably secure for working, although some hand sizes may find the hollow base of the grip to be uncomfortable. CONS: The under side of these claws has a large number of hollows, including at the tips of the claws. It can be difficult to get food (or whatever) out of these narrow spaces. The dishwasher helps, but I’d recommend not allowing anything to sit and dry in there for too long before rinsing or it may be very difficult to get it clean again.

   Overall these shredders have a good feel in the hand and the weight is just about right. But in general for my needs they are a bit big. if I I was shredding larger portions for large family gatherings they might be just right, but for doing shred work for a meal for 2. The larger size though does mean they are easier to clean up after, so that’s a plus. That said, they do work well and do work better than forks and tongues. The material is plastic and in my limited use of them they’ll probably last a long time, but if I was using and cleaning them more regularly, I’m not sure how long they’d hold up, so the value is, IMO, kinda 50/50 depending on your own situation.
