   Fits my cheap BBQ fine and can be adjusted as needed. I suspect it will fit nearly any BBQ less the largest. The overall build quality is reasonable for the price point. It functions as you would expect, never dies and is easy to charge or simply keep it plugged in, as I do. The set up (assembly) is as easy as eating pie.

   I was able to attach this roto to both of my grills, the grill with the offset heat does work well to smoke the chickens that I’ve run through there, but the kettle grill doesn’t allow me to close the lid for smoking. The kettle grill provides enough direct heat that it delivers a great product in a reasonable amount of time without the lid. My only worry was having enough power to get through an entire cooking session. I repurpose my 10,000 mAh battery bank and plug it into the roto and I’m good for the day. I’m able to do up to 2 chickens with a little setup making sure the chickens are tightly affixed to the rods. Cleanup is fast and easy with a green scratch pad and a few minutes work.

   Wanted a universal rotisserie for the grill for a while, but they’re expensive, not universal, and most seem to need 110 volts to turn….or you sit there and crank it:( This one covers many bases with it being cordless, adjustable length and height, and a universal fit for about any grill. The lid won’t close on your grill with it installed unless you cut slots or something, but I build a fire in the back and put this at the front and prop the lid half closed and as close to the rod as possible without touching it. Traps heat with the lid and helps coals not burn up so quickly so you aren’t constantly having to add more. The side posts clamps to fit sidewalls on most grills and the upper slots allow for you to adjust the spit rod further from or closer to the fire. The slots allow for left or right motor placement and the rod has 3 sections so the middle one can be removed for smaller grills or left in for larger. The motor is a bit tricky to get lined up and secure right in some positions , but it works even if it’s clamped outside a slot/groove….as long as you can get it to not spin. It thumb screws on and off so it’s super easy to install and remove. There are 2 sets of keepers so you can essentially do 2 big chickens, but I use butcher twine also to secure things to the rod so it doesn’t flop on every rotation. There is 2 speeds, but there seems to be a little slip in the motor at a point and there is a point where the spit free falls a bit. Hopefully this does not wear on an internal gear and cause premature failure. Its a plastic cube motor with a light that I can see no use for other than blinding you because the motor cube must sit outside the cooking area….and it’s a bright LED. It runs on 3 batteries or micro usb, so you could really plug it into a juice pack or any power cube. No cords makes the portability of this the best feature. There is a screw on handle at one end that stays cool for removal when done. At $60 this is around the same as others that require higher voltage to operate making this a great value suitable for travel. It even comes with a nice bag that everything fits nicely inside of and drawstring closes. Very nice!

   This universal grill rotisserie works great and it is very easy to assemble and disassemble, it is also easy to attach the unit to the grill, the rotisserie has a 3 piece center rod that screws together to make 1 long rod, you can also just use one or two of the rods as well to adjust the length of the rotisserie for different sized grills, it also came with 4 good sized forks that have a thumb screw to adjust the forks for the size of meat your cooking, the forks hold the meat and tighten in place nicely, the 2 side supports clamp on to the sides of the grill and they have a few notches to adjust the height of the rotisserie over the fire, the motor box that turns the rotisserie rod can be powered by 3 AA batteries or plugging the box into a power supply with included micro USB cord, the motor box has 2 speed and both the high and low speed had no problems rotating two 4 to 5 pound whole chickens, you can change the direction the rotisserie turns by turning the power box off and on again, the motor box also has a built-in LED light, but the light is on the side of the box so it doen’t really help light up the actual rotisserie, other than that I am very happy with the overall results I am getting with this rotisserie unit, I would absolutely recommend this product and for the price in my opinion it’s a really good value.
