As we should know by now, traditional bristled grill brushes are unsafe, and too many times using them has resulted in metal bristles making their way into the food and causing injuries. There are a few other scrubbers that are bristle-free, and I’ve tried several, but they all have downfalls. This one is no exception. What it does very well is scrub the surface of the grill much better than others, even bristle brushes. It’s also easy to clean, unlike the cloth ones that rely on water. This one gives the grill a more thorough scrubbing, which is great. The downside of this one is that it does not get between the grates very well, so you have to use the metal blade on the end to do that. This is not unusual for scrubbers, though. Only the bristle brushes really did that well, and there really is no substitute for it. That said, of all the alternatives, I’d say this brush is the best I’ve used, so I give it a lot of credit for that.

Whether I’m flipping pancakes at the campsite or smashing burgers at a tailgate, this kit has everything I need—and then some. Why this kit hits the sweet spot: Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel: These tools aren’t flimsy. The spatulas, scraper, and tongs have a great weight and feel like they’ll last through years of cookouts. Smash Burger Press = Game Changer: Flat, even pressure for perfect crust every time. My son said it made the “best burger of his life.” Melting Dome Wins Bonus Points: Speeds up cheese melt and keeps heat locked in. Great for grilled onions too. Final Thoughts: If you’ve got a griddle—or plan on buying one—this set is a no-brainer. It’s got pro-level quality with Dad-level practicality. Whether you’re camping, tailgating, or backyard brunching, this kit makes you feel like the short-order chef you were born to be.

Assembly wasn’t difficult, but it collapses flat enough that it could have arrived assembled. Instructions were basic and expected common sense decisions on some pieces. For a Weber product, it seems pretty ricky-dink and wobbly. I would have chosen a stand that did not have the collapsible option and that would hold an LP canister if it was available, as I use this grill on my porch and keep it upright. I like that the grill is securely snapped into the stand and it won’t fall off. If I had an RV, the collapsible option and handle would be great. The velcro strap holds the stand securely when collapsed. I wish it was a few inches longer so I could attach it to the lid handle when the stand is not collapsed during storage.

I had no problems assembling this cart. I read the instructions and then used common sense. First, there are no fasteners that will accept a #3 Phillips screwdriver. I used a #2 Phillips to tighten everything except the bottle opener. A smaller #1 Phillips fits those screws much better. Instead of an adjustable wrench, I used a 10mm wrench to tighten the handle and an 8mm wrench for the condiment tray. I installed the mat fuzzy side up. The cover offered elsewhere on outdoorcooking.us.com also fits well with the condiment tray folded or opened.

I have looked for a small and well made grill for years. I've had several Weber's and a Lodge and some hibachis but they either fall apart or just don't work that well. My main complaint has been the inability to get the coals close enough to to the grill to get some extreme heat - the kind that works best for most everything. This little gem has blown me away with it's smart design. It collapses and expands, it has two levels for the charcoal with the upper being only inches away from the grill, it has great flow and consistent heat. My research showed it was popular with the prepper crowd and while I think of them as generally crazy they do know durable multifunctional gear. This thing rocks. The grill fits perfectly on the top so it doesn't slide - smart. It is very efficient with lump charcoal (don't use briquettes - yuck) and it's also proven to work great with wood as well. My only regret is that I didn't buy the oven cover as well although I did buy the planchet/griddle which is fantastic. It does double duty as my new pizza stone in our home oven and once the cover shows up I'm going to try my hand at pizza while camping. It's capable of some very serious heat which really opens up the doors to what you can do. Another great benefit is that it stays cool under the grill (as least while using the upper coal tray) so it can be set on a table and not worry about ruining the surface. We cook pancakes, bacon, eggs and potatoes on the griddle and steaks and burgers on the grill and I like it so much more than my Weber that I've pretty much retired it save for when we're cooking for a larger group. Perhaps the only downside is the size but I consider it a bonus. The surface is enough space to cook for four or five people which suits our family perfectly. We keep it in our RV now and use it to cook most all our meals while we travel. It's also doing the job at home when I need more heat than the Weber is capable of - unless I burn an entire bag of charcoal. I'm considering a second one just for cooking at home.

Easy to assemble in 15 - 20 minutes. Fits my Blackstone Omnivore 27" model 1856 perfectly. Instructions were clear. You just need a P2 screwdriver as the wrench for the nuts is included. It would be nice if the 2 parts were cut to fit flush end-to-end, but it isn't a big deal. You need to make sure they line up, else the shelf will hit the knob bezels. Easy to get right but just be aware. It includes the bolts if you don't have the mounting ones pre-installed and there were some extras for the assembly, which is always appreciated.

Great product! Have used it a lot since July. Easier to clean versus the traditional mesh ones. Very happy!

This was a very heavy, high quality table cart. Exactly what we needed for our porcelain egg bbq. Easy to put together.

This grill set includes all of the basic tools that you will need to grill like a pro. The set comes in a magnetic close gold and blue gift box, making for a stunning presentation if you are giving this as a gift. Included with the set are tongs, an extra-large spatula, a barbecue fork, as well as a basting brush. All the pieces have the Dalstrong logo. Each piece is well designed with functionality, longevity, ease of use and safety in mind. These high-quality grilling tools feature a full tang, meaning the head and handle are made of a single piece of metal. The tools are made of a premium heavy-duty stainless steel. You can tell by the weight of each piece when you hold them in your hand that these were meant to withstand the test of time and handle even the thickest and heaviest pieces of meat. The handles of each piece are triple riveted and have amazing stability. They do not shrink or swell when exposed to high temperatures and they have a high mechanical strength making them difficult to break. They also allow each piece to fit comfortably in your hand. Each tool allows for a long reach so you don’t have to worry about burning your hands while tending the grill. The spatula has many unique and useful features. The size of the spatula head allows you to flip the biggest of gourmet burgers with ease. It even features a bottle opener incase you’re caught without one in a pinch. The serrated edge is useful for checking doneness of your meat since holding a knife over an open flame can get very uncomfortable very fast. The tongs are wide enough to allow you to flip the largest rack of ribs or to grab an entire baked potato or chicken breast without fear of of anything slipping out of them. They give you great control for those bulkier items. The meat fork was wonderful for use with our smoker. It was perfect for both brisket and pork roasts and lifted each of these without fear of dropping the meat as it was moved from smoker to plate. This grill set also features a basting brush that has heat-resistant silicone bristles. The silicone bristles are easier to clean than other materials and don’t absorb odors, making them ideal for applying sauces and marinades. With it’s long handle, it is easy to make sure that all of your meat gets evenly coated. Finally, I found the set to be very easy to clean and dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze. I can happily recommend this set to anyone, wanting to invest in a high quality product.

Havent used it yet. But it looks great. Arrived packaged very well. Comes with a lovely neay carry case for easy transport.

The burger press falls apart after using it 3 times. Do not get this set if you plan on using the press.

If you have been looking to get consistent grill marks like these....this is it...I've read other reviews that others have posted...they never read the instructions...It clearly states, you need to season them before use ☝️🤓 ..These are the cats meow....not even kidding...I bought this particular set because I only need a small area for what we grill, but...these are for the Weber 18-1/2" kettle grill and plenty big enough for my needs..and use them on my 22" Weber kettle, my bigass grill, my smaller smokey Joe as well...When you use these, you only need to use about a half chimney amount of coals, and spread them out so the hot coals cover the same dimensions of the GrillGrates...if you do it cold before you light the coals, this will help to determine how much or how many briquettes to use...the trick is to get the surface temp of the grates up to 500°F...a wireless non contact type of thermometer works the best for this... they're inexpensive and indispensable...The pork steaks you see in my pictures, are about an inch or so thick...I laid them out so they point in the 2 o'clock position, press them down for the 1st 15 seconds...set your timer for 2 min, after the 2 min, rotate to the left to the 10 o'clock position, and press down again for a few seconds, set the timer for 2 min....after that flip them over and repeat....these were done to med rare when they were pulled and wrapped, and they finished to a safe med rare...you can see the results I got...same with boneless skinless chicken thighs...but always check your internal temps with a fast read instant thermometer...again, you can find those here on outdoorcooking.us.com, this Instant read thermometer is a necessary tool to have if you cook on the grill...and as far as the GrillGrates...get them, you will not be disappointed...just read the user guide and watch a few YT videos...it doesnt get any easier than this...oh, as far as the ones who got a warped set...yeah, i doubt that..GrillGrates will replace them in a flash..and the ones who claim they warped them, yeah...they had their temps WAY above the 700°F limit and I'm certain GrillGrates suggests you stay away from that range... again...they didn't read the user guide...have fun, enjoy being the envy

Since campers don’t really have much space this caddy it GREAT and you are able to take everything in or out or where ever you need all of these utensils.

Nice accessory but expensive

This item was a good idea in theory. I purchased the Ninja Woodfire grill and thought this would he a great base for it being it had extra space on each side compared to the stand sold by Ninja. After about an hour of assembling the item I take it outside to find it is warped and not usable. Instructions to assemble are not super detailed but enough to figure out where parts go. Just a little frustrating, spent a good amount of money and wasted time when the product is not usable. Now to disassemble and send back.
