  • I no longer need to worry about grease dripping on my burners and the additional necessary cleanup and maintenance that comes with traditional grills. I bought this grill because I am all about ease of use and maintenance. I will say that I was eyeing the stainless steel version of this grill last year and am so glad I DID NOT pull the trigger on it at the time. Although stainless steel seems really good, after reading more reviews this year just about everyone complained about the front grease system. Too many complaints about needing to use paperclips or foil or other ridiculous mechanisms to make the grease not find its way on to the legs of the grill. That was not something I wanted to be worrying about since I am all about ease of use. This year on the Blackstone website I read a review on their stainless steel unit where someone mentioned a revised version with a rear grease management system. I was so glad to see that comment! I found the grill on outdoorcooking.us.com and ultimately that was the unit I decided to purchase. I also added the aluminum cover for the griddle, the cover for the grill, a griddle cooking set and organic flax oil. I don't recall how long it took to put together the grill but the instructions had plenty of visuals and everything fit just well. Make sure you have your own tools though! Next came the seasoning part. I followed what someone else posted on here. I used dish soap to wash down the griddle before doing anything else. I turned on the grill shortly after to burn off any excess water. Next I used the flax oil in combination with paper towels to put on a coat of oil. I ran the grill on medium-high heat for 30 minutes and turned it off. I let the grill sit for 30 minutes before moving on to the next coat. Overall I applied 6 coats of flax oil for the seasoning process. In my pictures above the two without the food were taken after the 1st coat of flax oil burned in. After the seasoning process, which took 6 hours if you followed the same steps I did, I finally got to cooking something! Before cooking, which I only needed 2 burners for, I sprayed some Pam over that area. The food came out great! I had teriyaki seasoning for the veggies and A1 Smoky Peppercorn for the sirloin steak. Once I was done cooking I followed the instructions the other reviewer provided to clean up. I will say that a towel of some sort should probably be used since paper towels are thin and you are going to have some hot, damp paper towels. But cleanup was easy and I sprayed some Pam on then waited for the grill to cool down before putting on the aluminum cover and grill cover. As of right now I'm giving it a 5. I didn't have really any grease from my food but the rear grease management system looks legit. The only complaint I have is why they didn't just allow all wheels to swivel instead of just 2 of them? Really that's being picky but it would have been a nice touch. I would be careful of the side shelves on a hot day because those things get HOT in direct sunlight. If you plan on transporting this thing often, be prepared to keep removing and reattaching the middle shelve; you have to remove it to fold the legs up. Take a look at the following review I used for my reference: https://www.outdoorcooking.us.com.com/gp/customer-reviews/RU9D410HZYE9Y/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B078HFRNPQ

  • I received my 1st Man Crate yesterday. It was a tough choice on which crate to order first. With Spring in full swing and Summer around the corner, I had to select the BBQ Crate The BBQ crate was a great first choice. Every product in the crate is top quality and useful. I made my first pulled pork with the dry Rub and BBQ spicy sauce, and it was a delicious Fantastic buy and I can’t wait to order my next man crate Bonus: the shipping crate is a great box to store stuff in the garage. I loaded my crate up with all the screws and nails laying around the garage

  • Love it. Wanted a nice table with storage and shelves for the large green egg I bought my husband. It showed up fast and pretty easy to put together, looks great and love that you can easily move the table. That egg is heavy! Can’t beat it for the price!

I bought this stove 4 years ago this month. I grill a lot. Always with charcoal. I wanted a grill that could perform as good as my kettle-style grill but be portable enough to put in the trunk of my car. The volcano has lived up to my expectations. I also bought the Volcano lid, which seems to be made out of aluminized fire suit material. The lid is necessary to control cooking temperature. Without it, I'm just searing everything. The grill can get too hot to cook chicken for an hour. I add the lid and use the grill's bottom vent to adjust the temperature. I can dial in the temperature from searing to low and slow. I can cook for 10 people or one person on it. I've made burgers, baby back ribs, pork tenderloin, marinated chicken tenders, spatchcocked chicken, lamb rib chops and loin chops, sirloin steaks, tuna steaks, grilled peaches, asparagus, sweet potatoes, and I've forgotten what else. The picture is of lamb loin chops and sweet potatoes. Also, my lid is nearly black on the inside. I've never cleaned it, and I like it that way. ;)

  • This thing is heavy. Which is fine because it was going to be a cooktop for a massive charcoal grill. But once I opened it, I couldn't even try to use it. Carbon steel should be smooth. Like the blade of a kitchen knife since it's the same material. But the way they made this was rough. Very rough. It seems it would get bits of food very easily stuck. It also had a very strong machine oil scent, and an oily film on the surface. I'm not cooking food with that stuff on there. No way. Returning the product was a huge pain. 80lb chunk of metal that I had to haul to a UPS store.

  • This is a pretty good starter set. I ordered this because you could never have too many utensils. I can't wait to use the shredders and embrace my inner Wolverine. LOL My only gripe is the thermometer. I do a lot of smoking ang grilling at home. I have been dealing with a 7mm kidney stone for a while, so my wife decided to do the Easter prime rib in the oven so I didn't have to worry about itbright now. But I thought I'd give the included thermometer a try. I have an instant read thermometer (the black thermometer pictured in front). And my thermometer is calibrated. My opinion was that the thermometer included was too light. I didn't think the build quality was there. And the reading was way off (16-22°F) and it kept fluctuating between that stated range. But mine was holding strong at 152.4°F. (Remember, my thermometer in the front had been calibrated). BUT, the other utensils felt great and seemed to have some good heft. I can't wait to get my pit going again and give everything else a try. The spatula seems to be of great quality and it is very sharp, so be cognitive of that. Also, the protective sleves over the knives that are used for shipping were stuck, which that type of plastic tends to do, so me mindful of that too when you're unpacking your set. The brushes seem to be great quality and I appreciate that the brushes are replaceable and you can find the same size at your BBQ supply store. Same with the basting brush. They will sell replacement brushes that slide right in (I have 3 extras that I got at my local retailer and they fit just right on this one). Keep in mind, though, that the included grill brush/scraper are not meant for deep, hard cleaning. These seem to be meant more for light to medium duty/regular upkeep so your grill doesn't get too bad. Also, the handle isn't very long, so don't try to clean your grill if the temp is ripping hot. Tip: try to keep the case that the extra brush comes in because it's great to house your extra one when you have to replace the brush heads. My over all impression was that this is still a great set. My only gripe was the thermometer seeming too light and lacking on build quality and accuracy. If you have a thermometer and do not have to rely on this one, this is a great set. If you do bot have one, I would suggest getting one, and this will still be a great set. But do not rely on the thermometer. That is why I knocked one star off.

  • This grill stand is absolutely excellent! The highlight is its sliding and adjustable design, which makes it incredibly flexible to fit in different spaces, whether on the patio or balcony. The quality is exceptionally good — very sturdy, well-built, and reliable. The materials feel premium, and the whole structure is solid with no wobble at all. The sliding mechanism is smooth, and the attention to detail in the design is impressive. It has really elevated my grilling setup. Highly recommended!

  • I bought this set about Two years ago and it is still holding up great! I love the feel of the wooden handle and also how sturdy this set of grilling utensils are. They are easy to clean, sharp with the heavy duty stainless steel and all around work great! The bottle opener at the end is awesome and I am very happy with this product! Its my favorite set to use for grilling by far!

  • The contents of the grill set seem okay but the entire thing arrived in shambles and it was clearly returned at some point and never inspected. Large missing pieces of wood, screws gone, interior packaging opened and taped back together and the packaging had no protection what so ever for the product. Considering that this was a birthday gift with a very hefty price tag, I've never been so disappointed with a purchase in my life. The only reason I dont return it is because Im convinced theyll just resell to some other poor soul.

Husband liked this birthday gift!! It's sturdy, nice weight and looks nice! Go-o-o tigers!!

  • If these are some form of stainless steel it is a very low grade. They rust and fail the magnet test.

  • I am having 30 guests for a wine tasting event and needed charcuterie place settings. The price tag for 30 charcuterie boards was more than I wanted to spend, so I bought these grilling planks and crossed my fingers. I was more than a little hesitant to buy "grilling" boards, expecting the quality to be similar to shims from home depot. But I am so glad I took the chance!! The boards I received are perfect for my needs!! I bought 2 packs of 30 (expecting splintered and knotted boards), but nearly all of them are excellent! The boards are smooth and THICK!! Some of them have beautiful graining patterns. They make a beautiful page setting. I bought one pack of alder and one pack of maple. Both are excellent!

  • This food injector is restaurant grade in my opinion. Stainless steel and sturdy. It has different sizes of needles in order to inject different thickness of fluids. They screw on and off easily. The top also screws off for easy loading. I injected a turkey with melted butter and even injected some cheese into some sausages I put on the grill. And everything was easy to clean afterwards with warm soap and water, and using the included cleaning tools. The only thing I would desire to have is maybe a plastic or rubber case to store it in. Other than that I think this package is a great value and should last a long time.

  • So assembly is straight forward. Its not bad or terrible. Is what it is. The most exciting thing is when you get a partially eaten twix in the bottom of the sealed box underneath all the hardware. Thats what makes it all special. Who knew???? Update. The seller offered to refund my money. While that is ok, I feel like this was an honest mistake. Funny but guess it happens. The item itself is great and we have been using it with success. I have changed my rating to 5 stars because the candy in no way represents the product.

  • Heavy & sturdy. Finish is nice. I took the flavor bars out under the griddle and that helped it heat up faster. Made an omelet for breakfast and grilled squid on a stick for lunch; both came out great!
