  • This is the perfect size for our patio and a great addition to our grill and griddle! Super easy to put together. It snapped together and easy to attach handles. Really no tools necessary! It rolls really well, the size is great and the divider tray will hold smaller items but not the long grill spatula, tongs, or fork, but were able to fit them on the side. The tray will be good to hold the meat thermometers, plastic utensils, and more... The bottom cabinet is perfect for cleaning items, wood chips etc... Very sturdy - I was surprised of the quality and I think we'll have it for a very long time.

I received this in 2015. I have smoked over 34 lbs of meat on it. over 12 lbs of pork sirloin and over 20lb turkey. BOTH came out fantastic. I'll include photos of both when I get a chance to add them. Rotisserie is great and creates such moist meats because it doesn't just sit flat. I bought this for smoking turkey for thanksgiving and this weekend was a test run. One thing I noticed verses my rotisserie on my gas grill is HOW STABLE and STRONG this unit is. It is definitely worth the $$ and is well built. If you like moist meats and smoking, this is a MUST in my opinion. I don't know of any other way to smoke and rotisserie at the same time. Feb 2016, I've used this A LOT at this point. still love it, and it works amazing. I don't know of anyone else who can smoke and rotisserie a 20+ lb bird for Thanksgiving or Christmas....all at the same time. I just made smoked rotisserie ribs for superbowl and they were fantastic! UPDATE: I bought a 21.67lb bird for Thanksgiving. I'll post after I cook and also the comments I get when I bring it to the family gathering (as an unbiased feedback). So everyone LOVED the bird. Was absolutely fabulous. I found out a cousin was bragging at their college about it lol. Must have been good (and SUUUUUUPER moist..like sandwich meat). 11-17-16- I had a request for more detail of the conditions/how I did the turkey. I do a charcoal train method about a 4 inchx4 inch trail of unburned charcoal around half the bottom perimeter for a slow burn. The air both top and bottom is just cracked open but not shut..maybe 10-15% gap. I drop wood chunks that will smolder as the fire burns along like a wick. I get about 1/3-1/2 full charcoal chimney going and drop it on one end to start the chain and also so it starts out hotter (about 400F). Over the next hour it will cool to about 325 (because you have less charcoal in the trail). I cook the turkey at 15 minutes per 1 lb of bird (ex 20lb bird would be 5 hours). I put an aluminum tray of water under it with some foil sticking up about 3-4 inches to make a direct heat shield from the coals to the turkey. yes I put the aluminum foil weighted down by a rock in the water tray..keep the foil cooler and the water warmer. If I missed any details you are wondering about please ask. April 2016: I've been flirting with how to make rotisserie smoked pulled pork. I'm sure some of you master cooks will roll your eyes but I'm excited and have succeeded and have to share. I didn't know this was possible 1. it's a LONG cook...like 12 hours give or take depending on how big your butt is<--that's a joke 2.for better flavor, cover your butt in spices and throw a little ...very little... red pepper flakes then saran wrap your meat and throw in the fridge at least over night (this makes a big difference). 3. plan on a 12 hour ish cook which means do what you want all day but be prepared to replenish water and charcoal a few times during the day. (smoking is the easiest cooking ive ever done. it's the original set it and forget it ). Temperature markers to look for 160 degrees= no pulled pork but AMAZING pork slices that are done but very tender and perfect for sliced sandwiches (this was a result of my experiments...it's not pulled pork though). 175 Degrees internal, at this temp the connective tissues melt away and the outside starts turning from red to black. My experience I can pull the pork off any where between 175 and 195 but 195 internal temp is best for easy shredding but still soooo moist. Cooking temps, try and keep it 225 to 250. I've done several butts since I discovered the 175 temp to melt connective tissue. I ran out of time this weekend and tried to cheat and kept it between 300 and 400...yes VERY hot for smoking and it still took about 8 hours. The saltiness seemed to be more intense cooking at these higher temps. The moistness was still quite good since I kept the outside oiled...just barely..not dripping just not dry. Moral of the story is the meat is still a 9 out of 10 by cheating but low and slow is superior. I did shave 4-5 hours of cook time off...so cheating is possible ...sort of. Hope you all try this. Again, this rotisserie ring is one of my most used bbq item...even more than my grill grate. It's indispensable.

  • The caddy is nice and the magnet is excellent. The mounting brackets are a joke and barely hold the caddy in place. Try to load supplies in it and it falls off. I plan to drill a hole in the top of the brackets and the shelf of my Blackstone so I can bolt it in place and us it. There were lots of good reviews and just a few with this problem so I already had a fix for this problem before ordering. The company making the brackets needs to do a redesign.

  • When it comes to picking out an amazing grill kit for any barbecue enthusiast, then you no doubt need to check out this amazing 4-piece grill kit from Dalstrong. I have three Dalstrong knives for all of my kitchen preparations and barbecue needs and this 4-piece set is perfect for all of my needs around my barbecue smokers. I love the 18-inch handles and the weight of each piece, from the spatula, to the turning fork, to the basting brush, to the tongs, is certainly not doing to disappoint. The craftmanship of each of this grilling tools is second to none and not only are they easy to clean, but will hold up for years and years to come. The spatula comes with a serrated edge for testing your meats, but I love the bottle opener incorporated into the spatula. The basting brush, turning fork and the tongs are also perfect for getting to those hard to reach spots in the smoker. This set also comes with a magnetic box for storing your grilling tools, but if you are like me, you will no doubt always want to have these tools out near your grill or smokers. I would have given this 4.5 stars only due to the fact that although there are some small holes in the handles, I really was hoping that there was maybe a leather string or loop so that way I could hang these off of the pegs on my smoker table. I'll make my own, but that would have been a nice tough to include that with the set. You will love this Dalstrong premium grill kit like me.

  • Has a strong feel to it but after a few use the nipple that holds the brush in place broke off.. not sure if mine was just defective . Product itself has a strong feel to it. I believe in secound chances so I will purchase another one

  • I bought this for the walmart expert grill steel kamado, which is the same size as the chargriller akorn. It works great, however if you are not careful the grate and griddle can slip off the small brackets they sit on, because they are maybe almost 1 cm too small for my grill. But it was the only compatible option I could find and the griddle is very convenient to cook with so I am happy.

  • All in all the kid was fine except for the bowl not was bent and deformed. This after the item was delayed a week past delivery.

  • These things can hold a lot of weight. We have cooked everything from turkeys, chicken, roasts, and even kebabs. So versatile. Can be used over any fire source really and easy to pack up and take to a friend's house.

  • I bought the Vortex for the 22” Weber Kettle and it is awesome. It helped me grill the best chicken of my life. Lol. Like others have posted worth it for the chicken alone. Buying another one for my other Kettle.

  • The shelf itself was easy to instal. However, it’s not useful because plates, trays, and utensils slide right of the slick surface. Poor design.

  • My pizza oven has to always be in this position does not fit the other way. Heavy duty, Rolls great very sturdy

  • I bought this as a gift for my brother. Thankfully I didn't procrastinate this year and so I have time to get a replacement since the handle on the case is completely broker off and missing. Also one of the clasps are broken and hanging. I am super disappointed to receive it in this condition. I will be returning it. I will tell you of my first impressions of the contents though. I like that the handles are not huge and bulky like some tongs and spatulas can be. If I was buying for myself, that would be a positive since I have small hands. The utensils do seem rather short to me and since I have a large grill, I would probably want a set with longer handles to protect my hands from the heat, or at least have some protective coating on the handles to prevent them from heating up if you have your hand over the grill for a bit. But it does come with the rubber glove that would help with that. I am disappointed that the knife doesn't have a protective sleeve on it to protect from accidental cuts. The items are all packed in pretty close together and I could easily see an accident occurring if you were trying to quickly get something out of the case. The product video stated that it did have one, so I don't know if my set is just missing it. Overall, I am not super impressed with the product. Even if the case wasn't broken, I would probably be returning it since it falls a bit short of my expectations.

  • I chose to try this rotisserie basket as it looked like a great way to cook wings or veggies on the grill easily and evenly without burning them. The basket is stainless steel. It's a large capacity basket and could even hold a roast or large chicken if you chose to use it for that. The basket has a latch clip to open or close, which is super easy to use. When open, you can separate the top of the basket from the bottom, for easier cleaning. The rod to our Weber rotisserie attachment fit perfectly through the basket and was easily secured using the butterfly clips on each end of the basket. We chose to try cooking wings in the basket and even with a little over 3 lbs of wings in it, the basket could have held quite a bit more. The wings cooked up evenly and nicely crisped all the way around. The only thing that I did not like about this grill basket was cleaning it, lol. Definitely use cooking spray and even with that it was still a mess. I wound up spraying it with Dawn power wash and let it sit for a bit and that helped. It is advertised that you can put the basket in the dishwasher, but it would take up the entire bottom of my washer so I just hand washed it. Overall, cleaning it was a small price to pay for nicely roasted wings.

  • This is NOT the heavy duty 6 piece advertised, it’s a cheap 5 piece.
